Maison Douillet is a creation and research project, founded in 2021 in the French Alps.

The brand creates everyday objects – working in close collaboration with specialized workshops and craftsmen based in France. It contributes to the valorization of local and ancestral materials, as well as to the transmission of regional know-how.

In parallel, the brand is documenting natural textile fibers – their use, origin and persistence. It also examines the legacies handed down by rural and mountain populations – gestures, materials, techniques, rituals.
